LT.Smoke Posted May 5, 2008 Report Share Posted May 5, 2008 Hey, I have Mb Quart Reference component set in the front stage of my car its contains 5.25" speakers in the door and 3 inch tweets on the dash. My question is could the gain being set to high on the amp that i have which is a kicker 200.4 cause them to crackle and screech when i raise the volume? The Reason i ask is because we adjusted the amp a few months ago because i was barely gettin any output from my front speakers it was all rear balanced sound. So could i have turned it up to high??
