Dialing it in

I recently purchased a Pioneer DEX-P99RS. This is a tuner style deck which requires amps to make sound. There is a little confusion as to how to set the gains properly on this head unit because there are many many different controls for the EQ. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Set everything to flat.  Find max distortion at the headunit then at the amps
