new box for my extended cab for 3 AB TNT 15s. ended up with good numbers and using position of my old box ( port forward facing on passenger side) to go by., will be doing two window frame braces inside and 45 on all vertical seams, maybe a rod or two. I overcompensated a bit on bracing displacement to kinda be able to just add bracing as I needed it. attatched pic is a VERY basic drawing of how it will sit in truck. outer line is perimeter of the truck cab, box to one side so I will have room for my 2 rear batteries on the side. once box is in it will be covered by a carpeted luan trim panel on top and front so it looks like whole thing is one piece in back of the cab and I can easily lift top or front and have access to my batteries . haven't decided on amp placement, ontop of box is basically gonna be a package tray for groceries nd shit when I need it, may make the front go up an inch or two to make a ledge so shit don't slide off the top. I haven't played too much with aero port or round port design, one cause I haven't used them before and a slot port will help with bracing too. that and I'm already over budget for this build and aero ports aren't cheap.  ihave some 8 & 10" sonotube , might play with the numbers and see how thos would work out but unless I'm just losing ALOT of output using a slot vs a round or aero I'm probably gonna use a slot. that and I have 2 sheets of 3/4 cabinet grade Baltic birch already amd 1 sheet 3/4 mdf already. on a side not do both those woods work together well? like internal bracing and parts in mdf and outside BB? can I use front layer of baffle BB and second baffle mdf? just something I am not sure of and would rather not find out AFTER I get this thing done.KIMG0241.thumb.JPG.2a18ed4263c06db9af9571d585a60b9e.JPG
