MasonJ
Happy plague-pocalypse everybody! Hope you're staying sanitized! During these times of quarantine I want to build a more space saving box for my SA12. It's currently in a box built to sundown's specs (the sketchup files one) that ends up being tuned to 37Hz I believe and being 2.77 cubic feet with a port 14"H x 2"W x (I think) 33"L, sub and port both aimed back on a sundown SAE1000D. The spec sheet that came with the sub says ported box size should be 2 cubes tuned to 35Hz What I WANT: Musical and slightly more space efficient Space to work with? Max space for a rectangular box would be 28"W x 14"D x 15.5"H (with this option I'd do a slot port, so sub and port back). OR a wedge box (bottom depth 14" still but the top depth 10" maybe) with a round port (sub back port side). I'm getting conflicting information when I try to design anything using torres, triticum's port calculator, and winisd. It'll look good in one, but then if I use another program it looks like poo. What would one of you fine people recommend I should do here? Any box design advice?
