Because it will be harder to charge 80ah than 45ah and you don’t need 80ah for 8k. 45ah would be fine with a 370 amp alternator. 80ah is good too but will be harder to charge. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”

That sub is a beast but needs a lot of electrical to run good. Wish I was in your shoes with that beast. I looked on DD Audio classified adds .
