I have the terminators just wondering if the P3D4 would be a worthy upgrade? Im only pushing 600 watts on my terninators but can push 1000 watts on the P3.

If you are not going to upgrade your amp then there there is no need to upgrade your subwoofer because if that upgraded subwoofer is on the same amp then it’s gonna perform just about the same and you will not be able to hear a difference because most likely it would be in the same subwoofer enclosure, thus having the same bandwidth. So if you want to upgrade your subwoofer, then upgrade your amp and build or buy an upgraded subwoofer enclosure. Or if you want a change in sound and to sound better and louder and harder on minimal money then just build or get built a custom subwoofer enclosure. The enclosure is more important than the amp and the subwoofer. A change in enclosures would surprise you and please you, if it’s designed and built correctly. The enclosure is what makes the bass what it is and defines it. It is the 2nd most important piece to a car audio set up. The 1st is electrical/wiring.

I see what your saying that makes sense. I was  thinking about getting two P3's and putting them in a custom box that was made/tuned for them. The amp I was gonna keep because I'm running the terminators at 2 Ohms at 600 watts and I could run the P3's at 1000 watts at 1 Ohm on the Thunder 1000.1.

I didn’t know that. Of course get full potential from an amp by wiring it to its lowest impedance. What size Rockford subwoofers are you planning on getting?

Thinking about getting this box since it says its made for those speakers. I cant find the cubic volume of the box but found out its tuned to 32hz. https://www.atrendusa.com/12rpd-12-dual-portedp2d4-12p3d4-12-subwoofer-enclosure

No way. That enclosure does have enough port area for them subwoofers and is way overpriced for what it is. You mine as well spend $100 more and get a good enclosure.

THIS ENCLOSURE IS MADE FOR DIFFERENT SUBWOOFERS, BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER BECAUSE THE SPECS OF THEM ROCKFORD SUBWOOFERS AND THIS ENCLOSURE MATCH. YOU SEE HOW THIS ENCLOSURE HAS BIGGER PORTS AND MORE PORT AREA. THAT OTHER SUBWOOFER ENCLOSURE YOH POSTED A LINK TO WOULD HAVE THAT MUCH OUTPUT COMPARED TO THIS ONE.
