brady Posted May 13, 2008 Report Share Posted May 13, 2008 (edited) hey whats up, im new here and i just wanted to ask a question. im wanting to buy four L5 15s, i have a Rockford Fosgate P-1000.1 bd and im buying another just like it... i drive a 07 Nissan Titan Ext cab, my back seat is already out. my question is, how should i build my box? seperate chamber for each woofer or what? and what should i tune it to? im leaving to go offshore today so i wont be able to check it until i get back in a week. thanks for any help yall can give me. lil_italy773 Posted May 13, 2008 Report Share Posted May 13, 2008 (edited) if u get all dual 2s wire all 4 to 1ohm or if all D4s to 2ohms unless u want to Parallel / Parallel the D2s will be .25 ohm and D4s .5 ohms the others b4 i mentioned was Series / Parallel. when u get the subs and u want a diagram i can draw u one. He is running two amps. So he would want to get dual 4s wire each on in parallel and then together for a 1ohm load to each amp. lil_italy773 Posted May 13, 2008 Report Share Posted May 13, 2008 (edited) sell the one and get one big amp. to simplify the wireing and less power/grounds he only has the one for now. and it is Series / Parallel D2s to make a 1 ohm load.
