Menace 1krms competition sub enclosure specs?

Hi. First post here. So I got a ridiculously good deal on a set of 12's in a ported enclosure for $200 bucks. They are the competition 1000 watt rms menace line that's discontinued.  I figure this was a decent investment to pick up until im done saving for deaf bonce everything.   But I'm not familiar with this line, and I don't know the recommended specs for a custom enclosure. Is anyone familiar? Does anyone know the specs? Was this a wise investment? They're beyond satisfactory in my eyes, but I'd like to know what to expect.
