frenziedcage Posted December 22, 2020 Report Posted December 22, 2020 What size enclosure does the DD Z4 12 like? I've heard they like a bigger enclosure but on DDS website there is no specs available on ported enclosure I couldn't find anything posted anywhere on the specs.
Dafaseles Posted December 22, 2020 Report Posted December 22, 2020 Subs like the Z4 and the FI Neo 4.11 (there's more subs line this, these are the first 2 that popped into my head) they're not your typical subs. They can handle anywhere from 3500 watts to insane amounts of power (5000+) depending on the enclosure size, application, this that and the other thing. My advice, ask someone who has a lot of experience designing boxes. Maybe someone on this forum can help with that, or you might end up spending a couple bucks on someone who designs boxes as a side gig. Just do a little homework before picking someone so you don't end up with a box that's all wrong for a sub that.... correct me if I'm wrong.... costs over $1,000. 2011 Chevy Silverado under construction My build log here.
