groundwire Posted December 27, 2020 Report Posted December 27, 2020 I just want to double check with you guys. It is ok to run 2 matched alternators in parallel to one battery bank correct? I want to run my two 400 amp mechman alts in parallel for a total of 800 amps into my battery bank that has 6 new/matched odyssey batteries. Thoughts?
liteblue Posted January 3, 2021 Report Posted January 3, 2021 Very cool! You absolutely can run those in parallel. 400 amps is beefy so dual runs of 1/0 minimum.
