Jigs601 Posted December 30, 2020 Report Share Posted December 30, 2020 Got a question for you guys, I recently had my system installed used dd1+ checking for distortion well using the test tones set the head unit and amp rite!! Well for some reason every time I play music hooked up the dd1+ And it shows distortion on Apple Music!! So wtf?? So where should I go from here is my question?? my system is 2 X8v3 on a sfb 1500 custom box @ 34hz in a 18 crewcab Sierra removed Bose and put in a dmh 2550 nex pioneer head unit 4 d4s60 6.5s on a 201.4 amp from deaf bonce. 1/0ofc ran 2 batteries Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you are testing with a 0 db test tone but the amifer is tuned with 10 db overlap the 0 db tone will clip. How did you set gains with the dd 1? Cd test tones? Try downloading and playing them with apple music.Tune amplifiers with dd 1 that way Is my suggesting.
