It miscalculates port length in reference to port tuning. And why copy a prefab build? Why not buy the same enclosure, it’s the same thing you told him, but spending more money. But I wouldn’t recommend anybody buying a prefab enclosure if they want optimal sound. Don’t take this the wrong way, but luckily I seen this before your bad advice was followed.
