I am thinking of just making a box to sit in place of half of the back seat of my Ford super duty. I’m also thinking of switching the amp to a 2000 way sundown. I need a box designed for me. stingray72 Posted July 2, 2021 Report Share Posted July 2, 2021 With those measurements and subtracting 1.5 inches using three quarter inch mdf you have 4.11 cubic feet without subs or port and they recommend up to 1 cubic foot per 8 inch sub so that means were going to have to come up with a slot port design for you. Let me work on it for a while and ill come back with a workable design. Ok you will end up with 2.50 cubic feet with the port and inverting the subs (mounting both of them with the magnet sticking out). Your port will be 19.5 x 3.0 and your total port length (with end correction factored in) will be a total of 38 inches long and you will be tuned to 36 hz port 19.5h x 3.0w x 38 l Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
