Dafaseles
Hey people, I have a question for anyone whose fiberglassed their own door pods in their car before. I want to wrap the pods in vinyl, but I'm realizing I'm probably not going to be able to do this. There will be 4 8's and 4 1.25 tweeters in each door, so it'll have some good weight to it. I'm planning on just cutting the bottom off the door panel and that will all be wood/ fiberglass, and then I want to glass the top part back into the plastic door panel. My question is, how do I wrap the top of its glassed into the plastic? There won't be any lip for me to end the vinyl in.... or how do you make that lip? How do you make a nice, clean seam between the vinyl and the plastic? I'm probably explaining this like crap. But hopefully someone can help 2011 Chevy Silverado under construction My build log here. I'm still in the process of fabricating the doors lol. I think I'm not going to wrap them anymore. I think it'll look better just painted. 2011 Chevy Silverado under construction My build log here.
