Nukhu Posted February 6, 2022 Report Share Posted February 6, 2022 So over the past couple months ive been having an issue with my system that has gotten worse but i cant find the cause of it. When i get in my car and drive, i have no issues. but as soon as i park and listen at a low volume for a 10 minutes or so my volume will start going quiet for a few seconds, then it will come back. my sub and my doors do this. they are both amped, and both ran through the skar eq. I have checked all my power/grounds and nothing is loose so my only thought is my rcas which i got new when i got my eq right after this issue started happening, so maybe its the headunit? i dont know, but if anyone has any ideas please drop them. Car still running, and when it happens my voltage does not drop. Ive read that it does, 13.6 after it warms up but ive seen 14.2 on startup. it didn't start doing this until i amped my doors, but it used to be only my doors that did it, now it is the sub and doors both. Or a dedicated set to the 4 channel and another dedicated set to the sub amp? I can't remember if that had unit has multiple RCA outs 2011 Chevy Silverado under construction My build log here.
