PlasticWater
Hello, I custom made my current enclosure for my previous Sub(GW-124), specs are net volume 2.5 cubic feet. Tuned to 30hz, with 30 inches of port area, Port Inlet 2.40" × 12.50", Port Length 29.22". I upgraded to a Skar Evl 12 2ohm dvc that I'll be running on Skar 1500.1dm at 1ohm. Skar recommends 2.0 cubic ft, tuned to 30hz, with 24 sq inches of port area. Is my current enclosure going to cause a significant issue? If so I'll build another, but I've been just using subbox.pro for my last two boxes, if anyone has plans for a better design, that would be appreciated. Going in trunk of 2011 Impala so plenty of room for whatever. Thanks
Joe X
The box being a little bigger than recommended it will play a little (more) peaky at tuning. Just set your subsonic filter correctly and see if you like how it sounds.
