Homeskillet
My pioneer head unit is putting out 3.2 V at the subwoofer RCA’s with a 40 Hz 0 dB test tone. When plugged into my cab 22 amp I get 29 V with the gain turned all the way down and bass boost off with everything flat on the head unit EQ. When I plug in the cab 22s bass knob with a knob turned all the way to the max and the amplifier gain turned to zero i’m getting about 70 some odd volts. It doesn’t seem right. I have two questions. 1. Is it normal to have 29 V at the amp with a gain turned all the way down and loudness and bass boost turned off? 2. is it normal to have 75 V at the amp when the base knob is plugged in and turned to max while the amp game is still turned to zero? I’m wanting to use the bass knob to be able to turn down the bass volume from Bass knob max volume.

Homeskillet
I used AC voltage for checking the RCA’s and the amp outputs. Is this correct?
