Readings on my DVC 4 ohms?

Dusted off a pair of MTX 8500 12s and threw my multimeter on the leads and out of all 4, I got between 3-3.2.

 

Is this too low?

Am I making something out of nothing here?

 

I expected to see closer to 4.

They are OLD lol, and "loved" but weren't pounded into the ground, they did live on a kx1200.1 at 1 ohm though lol.

 

I'll be bummed if something is wrong. These babies rock(ed)!

4 ohm is nominal impedance while what you are measuring is DC resistance, the 3-3.2 ohm per coil range is perfectly normal.

I thought it should have been 3.4-3.6.

 

I started thinking maybe all that time on the kx got to em'. They are only rated for 600 and if the kx gets the power she craves, can do like 1400 (I've heard even more?)
