floridaplur
I’m getting ready to start a build for a Sundown ZV6 18 D1. I’ve got everything mostly figured out, with the exception of port area. I’ve decided to go with Aero for quick swap (one for daily, one for spl). I was told to use either 8” or 2 6” ports. Either of those options only puts me at about half of the 112 sq in recommended port area. Trying to figure out what I have to do to get this correct. I’d prefer to use 6” tubing as it’s easier and cheaper to source.
Joe X
That's a flimsy box, consider fixing that before anything else, Sundown's box suggestion in their website is 6.83 cubes @ 32Hz with 93.5 square inches of port area. If using round ports I would pick a couple of 7" PVC pipe ports that are 22.2 long each to tune to 32 Hz. 7" PVC pipe is not as common as 6" but it's still available.
