David Vandiver Posted April 20, 2023 Report Share Posted April 20, 2023 I have a sundown xv3 12 2d and I have it wired supposedly to 1 ohm but I'm seeing that the xv3 d2 is really duel 1.6 ohm voice coils. Joe X Posted April 20, 2023 Report Share Posted April 20, 2023 You are measuring DC resistance of your coils which is just a component of impedance which nominally is 2 ohm per coil, don't worry those readings are normal, just wire the coils in parallel and connect to the amp and it will work just fine.
