For Daily Driving With Model Alt?

at first i was going to go with a 300amp/135 idle alt..but i saw some mention that for daily driving the alt will over heat and burn out..not sure how true this is..but if thats the case..which of these would you go with for a 3500 watt system with 3 powermaster d3100 batteries for daily driving and beatin?

The 240/165 is best if you park a slam alot. While your driving it will do more anyway its at idle that counts!!!
