But to be honest, I never did get the midbass out of them that I was after. i be rockin just the kappa louder and more bass than the perfects not as clean tho Quote Have you ever had your woofers blown? littleitaly1990 Posted May 23, 2008 Report Share Posted May 23, 2008 I have both kappa and kappa perfects...imo the perfects have more mid bass and are way cleaner, especially compared to the kappa's slighty harsh tweets. AlpineGuy87 Posted June 1, 2008 Author Report Share Posted June 1, 2008 Well you are all right, I know i want more than what im going to be able to find. but guess what, if there was one place to ask, i've come to the right place. I will not be running an amp, which i know means less bass for most comp systems. My headunit is decent and my stock speakers have some good bass, i just rather have the thump thump than the pop pop when im hitting some bassy lines. I think my tweaters are fine if i can atleast just get a good midbass speaker i'll be set! $100 a pair wont kill me, thats basically my price i want to stick around. I would need 4 speakers, so $250 or less for 2-pair. I think the Infinities are decent, i've heard em before, but im still looking for tad more bass than what they offer.
