you could probably go a little bigger on the box. depending on how big your willing to go

ill go as big as i can fit in the trunk as long as i can easily take it out.

i guess im just asking what is the optimum box size for the sub?

mtx reccommends 2.5 i think, but alot of people run 3.5cuft

2.5 is very tight and accurate

3.5 gets down and dirty

both were tuned to 34hz in a 99 crown vic on mtx1500d

just play around with that a little until you get the dimensions your looking for
