Bass4Lyfe
So as you all know by now, because I've posted like 200 topics on this, I've installed an alarm recently. I've gotten NOTHING but trouble ... my car wouldn't even turn over this morning! Did a bit of amateur testing and realized my battery was dead. I did leave the headlight switch on overnight, but my car turns the headlights off automatically .... unless they wired the alarm wrong. But there is not a good chance of this because I SPECIFICALLY remember all lights being off after arming last night. In the morning, clicking noises come from the vehicle and it will not turn over. Could I have wire chafing somewhere that caused a short? Is it the remote starting system? Should I do that test (after charging battery tonight) where I put a test light in between battery and negative wire and see if it lights up and remove fuses? Thanks ... getting VERY frustrated with this new alarm ... Team Bassick - Kimo
That sucks man. What shop did you take it too again? If its been within 30 days you might want to go back and get your money back or something. One issue or two is one thing. Multipleissues though I don't know. maademperor
isnt a clicking noise indicative of a starter issue more than battery? if it was battery it would be just dead I think...
