I have a certain pair of shoes that cause me to get shocked getting out of a car when I wear them. Try some static guard spray on your floor mats.

there isnt even carpet in there. i think its just a very strong static shock but i have cloth seat in my truck to and this does not happen in there. i dunno i have been meaning to switch the ground to better quality but her car is on the back burner until winter
