High output alternator but for wrong vehicle

Recommended Posts

I have a 01 Malibu with a smart 3 bass and so far but not for long a Orion 10" hcca dspl and the guy I bought the sub from he had given me this high output alternator but it isn't for my Malibu. What do I need or what do I need to do to be able to do to mount it in my car?

Probably more effort than it's worth, honestly.

Arm chair refereeing: Not sure that alt would be worth using even if it fit. Large pulley on the front means low idle output (if it even is a HO alt and not a show piece). Front mounted fan is less effective at cooling the rectifier, so it would be more prone to heat issues. Especially with the large pulley spinning it relatively slow - less airflow.
