Flickering Power/ Protect Lights

so my car caught fire today cuz ima dumb shit... and so iput new wiring in so i could bump at least a little.. so ithrew in my old profile california amp (MOSFET 600w) and a single 12" Polk MM124 (500w rms) and now the light for power and the light for protect flicker on and off.... i checked all the wires it seems to be okay? the wires are tsunami premium 8g wire.. which should be enough for that amp... any ideas? what should i check? help please.. music without bass to me is like a stomach without food.

maybe you wired the sub wrong and the amp can handle teh load

nope thats not it ... first time i tested it i didnt have a woofer set up for the amp.

the lights flicker on all 3 of the amps that i have sitting in my garage..so its not like the amp is malfunctioning...
