Amp suggestions for a pair of JL 8w7

I have a pair of 8w7s in a ported enclosure built to specs from JL (not prefab) and an ARC Audio ALD but need a replacement amp.  JL suggests the HD750.1 (of course right?!?!).  While I'm sure it would sound great theres just the issue of the $1000 price tag on that amp.  Would appreciate some suggestions for an alternative amp that would be closely comparable for much less.  I know the w7 line has that oddball 3ohm resistance and that it would have to be an amp that would be stable @ 1.5ohms since they are in parallel.  I just know those specs and wouldn't be able to comment on any of that to save my life. I don't know much more on that level.  I am a listener, not an installer.  TIA for any suggestions.

 

(JIC someone wants to comment on purchasing expensive speakers and going cheap on the amp, please save your breath because the speakers were purchased years ago and I got the for a hell of a deal.  Can't justify high $$$ in my car stereo right now)

Because those subs are 3 ohm a constant power amp would be nice, I would recommend this:

It's $599 last time I saw and very high quality amp for your high quality subs. Will look good with your subs.

 

Said that you can use any quality amp in the range of 1000-1500W RMS @ 1.5 ohm.
