arcwcb Posted December 28, 2024 Report Posted December 28, 2024 Looking for some technical help on a new setup I’m wanting to run. I currently have two D’Amore E1500.1 and two E700.4 amps sitting around that I’d like to install. I’d like to strap the two E1500.1 together for three DC LVL 2 10’s, but the E1500.1 don’t have a built in feature to run a master/slave. I was looking around and found the DD ZVL which looks really similar in functionality to the old MLX-100 Maxxlink from back in the day. Anybody using a ZVL to strap two amps (non-Digital Designs obviously) that don’t have that functionality? Any issues with reliability of the ZVL or the amplifiers being strapped? So just wire one coil from each of the three subwoofers to one of the amps and the other set of coils to the other amp, gain-match and be done?
