ok so i upgraded my subs now i have 4-12" alpine type R's now how in the world do i fit them in my 03 malibu? with out making a wall, i wanna keep my back seats. only thing i can thing of is to make a half octagon box with 2 facing the rear and the other 2 facing to each side slightly angled and port them out the back of the seats or keep a sealed box, this is really got me puzzeled right now and kinda lost so does any one have any idea? they might be willing to share with me? :huh:

yeah man ur really in a pickle. should have just got 2 huge power handling 15s and throw 5-6kw rms to them.

with that little of a space would there be really enuff air space for 4...sounds like ur gonna need a sealed box

i was gonna do 6 L7 15s but there was no way in hell to get enuff air space vented and sealed no way what a waste.

hope u can or sum one has a idea that can work 4 u.

do a sealed box and port the trunk through the deck.

ive only seen that done once, but it was loud and low as hell

4 12's is possible, fire the port into the cabin. im thinking somewhere along the lines of...8-9cuft
