jizzybizzy Posted June 4, 2008 Report Share Posted June 4, 2008 so i cant get my 1/0 wire to fit in the terminal... any tricks to this.. i get all this loose shit ... it just seems like its the wrong size.. but its what came with the kit any help? and also the wires dont seem to fit in the amp either.... any suggestions for that while we're at it. sorry im a noob. checkmate kstms Posted June 4, 2008 Report Share Posted June 4, 2008 you could try to cut a few strands neatly out. it will shrink it a bit. or make a clean cut start with fresh wire and sort of pinch it towards the bottom and work them in from there. its hard to explain lol but basically if you strip it back about a half inch and squeeze it and work it you should be fine. checkmate kstms Posted June 4, 2008 Report Share Posted June 4, 2008 didnt see the amp part if it has 0 gauge inputs same thing start with clean wire. if not a few companys sell reducers from 0 gauge to 4 gauge that, keep things clean and allows you to use the bigger wire.
