lil_italy773 Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 i want to mount my amp to the box i have but never done any of my amps in fear that it would ruin them... i have barly any room as it is and really need to mount the amp to the box cuz thats the only place i have that i can. what are sum things i can do to make this so the amp dosent take much shock. rubber gromets, sound deadner on a sepreate peice of mdf thats gonna be mounted to the box....can i get sum sugestions thanx mario the amp is a 30 lbs ma audio hk-802sx

Under warranty, got a replacement and mounted it directly on the box and was fine for months till it was eventually stolen. -Drew I am a United States Military Arts and Crafts Professional. tacomabanga1986 Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 can u make a mdf board and mount it to one of your seats? anyways ive always mounted my amps to my boxs and never had a problem, i kno ur not susposto but i did anyways and my box is made from burch so it dont vibrate hardly any so i have not one problem with it but i moved em down to under the box behind front seats, but if it was me and was worred about vibration ied get a piece of rubber mat and put behind it and screw threw that to the box and shouldn't have a problem here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit
