wrathchild281
Hey guys i need some opinions on my mids and highs for keeping up with 4 18 btls walled off of 4 kicker zx2500s in a yukon behind the 2nd row of seats. I really want a loud front stage and i want to stay away from horns. I was thinking 2 sets of kicker ss65.2 components for the factory location in the doors and doing a set of 5.25 ss comps in the kick panels. I would like some form of listening quality but primarly im looking to just be able to hear the music with out being drowned out by bass. Any suggestions please...thanks 225 Excessive Amperage Alt. 4 Yellow top batteries Pioneer AVH-6600 Kicker KQ5 2 FI 18 BTL's fully loaded 2 zx 2500.1's 4 ks6.5 coaxials 4 ks5.25 coaxials kx650.4 http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2358078

pimpedout97x
yup. theyre loud. you can make them sound good with the right crossover and EQ, etc...the reason people always say they sound bad in cars is becuase alot of people just throw them in their doors on an amp, no crossover, no EQ, nothing, and call it a day.
