reinke Posted June 28, 2008 Author Report Posted June 28, 2008 is that box big enough for 4 10's? looks a little on the small side.shhhhhhh. i thought about that right when i took the first pic. if the magnets touch i will cut some rings and space a pair out. i am thinking though that i can put the rear 2 far apart and the top 2 close together or vice versa. i am gonna mess around with it this weekend before i cut the hole. either way when i fiberglass the front baffle there will be room then. i am gonna make rings a ring out of some 3/4 and triple it. the wrap fleece around the front so it has some shape to it when she opens her trunk. but for now i will just make it work i dont care how it looks.it is 2.96 cu.ft internal. .74 per sub. they call for .75/oops ----reference's---- meade916
reinke Posted July 2, 2008 Author Report Posted July 2, 2008 small little update. i finally got the carpet for her box and the dynamat trunk kit. hopefully, tommorrow i can get the dynamat installed. i am gonna try to find time tonight to figure out the placement of the other 2 woofers. i should have made the box 2 inches deeper. but, you kive and you learn i guess. i gotta say my skills are getting better. the new circular saw blade is amazing. i still got a decent amount of stuff to do still. dynamat the trunk, roof, doors, and rear deck. switch out the mids and highs. finish the box then make side extensions for a built in look. rewire the amp and add wiring for a 2nd amp. then tune. the new panasonic works awesome. the SQ i got out of it is great. there is not alot of power behind it so a 4 channel is deff in the works. her car is gonna shit all over my truck until i add the ohter 4 12's atleast. stay tuned more pics in the next few days. ----reference's---- meade916
