Scared me at first, just make sure you keep the screw holes lined up with the premade ones. Diablo Audio Technologies Fi Car Audio Ascendant Audio

RamenNoodles Posted June 28, 2008 Report Posted June 28, 2008 thanks man i just wanted to make sure it wasnt something made wrongsaftey first Wait wait, cone goes over the screw holes?? Do you mean the black piece of rubber that goes all the way around the subwoofer that has the predrilled hole in it. The front cone shouldnt go over the screw holes... philip Posted June 28, 2008 Report Posted June 28, 2008 it does on a new woofer. i would drill the surround part or poke it out first before you screw it in. sometimes you can tweak the surround if you try to just screw the woofer in.
ChevyBoy Posted June 28, 2008 Report Posted June 28, 2008 whats the matter? you guys cant find the hole?
Jcoleman134 Posted June 28, 2008 Report Posted June 28, 2008 when i got my bl the holes were already there just the extra part of the surround didnt have wholes. there is whole in the basket though. take the rubber gasket off and look at the basket and you will see the wholes.
