Shinju Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 MS Series is One of the best lines Phoenix Gold Ever made. Fuse size I would say 40-60 depending on what you are going to do with it. http://ampguts.realmofexcursion.com/Phoenix_Gold_MS275/ 100 bucks is a damn good deal if its in good cosmedic and working condition. I still have one sitting around. They are kind of voltage hungery but still do well. 2 x 75W @ 4 ohms (12V) 2 x 100W @ 4 ohms (13.8V) 2 x 125W @ 2 ohms (12V) 2 x 140W @ 2 ohms (13.8V) 1 x 225W @ 4 ohms bridge (13.8V) Manufactured in 1992-1995
EricM9104 Posted July 1, 2008 Author Report Posted July 1, 2008 Yea, it looks like it's in good condition. What would they usually sell for in good condition? 2015 Honda Civic LX 4dr | 110k miles | Stock 1996 GMC Yukon SLT 4dr 4wd | 260k miles | JVC Head-unit

Shinju Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 ttt.... It will not run on low voltage. Those amps will shutdown to prevent any damage. Also some of those old school amps required the RCA's to be pluged in to function too. If it does it in your friends truck there might be an issue with the amp. Does it smell toasted? When you add power to it can you hear (this is going to sound funny) the powersupply sing? <--- High pictched electrical squeel. My M50 did that before it died.
EricM9104 Posted July 2, 2008 Author Report Posted July 2, 2008 Ah, cool, yea, PSU was outputting 10.5-11v. One of the RCA inputs on it has part of an RCA plug jammed in there.... >.< Gonna be trying it in my friends truck hopefully this weekend. If it's messed up, would I be able to send it to DB-R and they could repair it? 2015 Honda Civic LX 4dr | 110k miles | Stock 1996 GMC Yukon SLT 4dr 4wd | 260k miles | JVC Head-unit
