hotshot27
You guys are gonna roll. I just got hired at best buy as a car audio salesman. It it pretty much a dream job. My boss, the car audio manager and installer, graduated from texas tech. shes in her mid to early 20's and loves car audio, and extremely attractive. I know most of us hate on best buy, but I will be the one guy in the corner that actually knows what hes talking about. The guy that applied right after me was talkin so much trash, about how his rockford p1's will take my CVR's any time. He even uses the "high output" box from bestbuy [prefab]. lol needless to say I kinda made him look dumb by asking "trap" questions and making it really awkard. normally I wouldn't, but I was tired of his bitchin. Any ways, i'll let you guys know how it works. Too bad I have to train with my boss for three weeks... hope I can take it Edited July 6, 2008 by hotshot27 Quote Current Setup: Factory HU with LOC mids/highs-Insignia components Sub- E8 in bass tube Amp- sae-1200d Show Setup: HU-Sony MEX-1HD (brings massive respect for sony) fronts - Infinity Kappa perfect comps rears- Infinity Kappa coax mid/high amp - Autotek 5600 Subs - 2 RE SE 15's Sub Amps - 2xSAE-1200D Box - 5cubes sealed Wire- Lots of Knu 1/0 SECOND SKIN

Quote i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? hotshot27
lol no camera phone. I start on thursday, but I have to pass my drug test on tuesday. I will attempt to get pics. She wants to hear my car, so i'll use that as an excuse to get a vid. Not a very nice install, but probably enough to prove I know what i'm doing. And her hair is too short for a hairtrick. not that my setup would do one anyway. I asked what is louder 2 12's DVC w/ 4ohm coils OR 2 12's SVC w/ 2ohm coils he said SVC, and get this, Because running 2 voice coils take twice the power to be as loud. Then I asked about tuning and peaking of cars, and he said it doesn't matter, all notes are the same loudness. at this point I stopped asking questions and enjoyed the long akward silence as we waited for our turns to be interviewed Edited July 6, 2008 by hotshot27 Quote Current Setup: Factory HU with LOC mids/highs-Insignia components Sub- E8 in bass tube Amp- sae-1200d Show Setup: HU-Sony MEX-1HD (brings massive respect for sony) fronts - Infinity Kappa perfect comps rears- Infinity Kappa coax mid/high amp - Autotek 5600 Subs - 2 RE SE 15's Sub Amps - 2xSAE-1200D Box - 5cubes sealed Wire- Lots of Knu 1/0 SECOND SKIN
