**big Update**(6) 15" Jbl Gti's In An S10 Blazer

Looks like kicker hyperflex and if it is its as flexible as 4 gauge if not more...you can tie that stuff in a knot.

Batteries: 2 Stinger SPV35, Kinetik HC2400

Electrical: Big 3, DC Power 290amp Alternator w/ MLA at 15.5v

Enclosure: 4.2 ft³ @ 33Hz 84sq.in. of port (20sq.in. per cube)

Headunit: Eclipse CD3200 w/ 80G iPod

Mids/Highs: Rockford T152s (a-pillars), Rockford T162s (doors)

Subwoofers: 1 15" Fi BL Fully Loaded

This guy i know who gets his work done at the stereo shop my friend owns has 3 15'z GTI'z he has blown 10 of those subs, it has always been the tinsels that pop on him.He must be doing something wrong

I blew a couple of W10gti's to but it took over 2x the rated RMS and 7 months of massive abuse

...the tinsel lead poped off of one of them and the spider came loose on the other

JBL = Harmon Karden made. Quality stuff imo.

I ran a GTO601.1 at 1ohm 2 L7 10's (2 ohm Stable mono) never once missed a beat or heat up amp was bullet proof ran it for 2 years like that..

Cannot wait to see more!

Which is what goes in all mercedes benz... So that alone should tell you something. (not a fan of jbl, just saying they're 'quality' made)

ford lincoln and mercury have been using jbl since the 80's.....my 88 mark vii had one of the best sounding factory systems ive heard in a while (yes including all the new bose and infinity crap)

ford lincoln and murcury have been using jbl since the 80's.....my 88 mark vii had one of the best sounding factory systems ive heard in a while (yes including all the new bose and infinity crap)

my dads 87 town car has the JBL system :rofl:

you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol

not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be.
