Basshead2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 I put two 15" kicker Comps in my SUV in a 10' cf ported box. Thhey are not hitting nearly hard enough for my liking. I have them run to a hifonics 750.1. I am wondering...It is gonna be worth my time to swith to 2 15" kicker CVR's, or Shoul I just go with another brand if I really wanna pound? oh BTW I found a shop that sales brand new Hifonic's colossus 3000.1 for $1400. Should I get it? Noobtastic14 Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 oh man. i'd make the box a bit smaller- what is the box tuned to? what coils do they have and what is the net ohm load? some slight changes may give you the bass you want without new equipment -Drew I am a United States Military Arts and Crafts Professional. IH8PunkRok Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 i got the cvr's and they are decently loud i love em but of course i still want louder. so my advice is to go wit sumthin bigger. dc lvl 4's will outperform the cvr's all day everyday and prolly beat the cvx's as well. im not sure about the amp though -Matt2005 Dodge Magnum RTJVC KD-AVX1 2 PPI S580.2 Obsidian Audio ST1 Horn Tweeters PRV 8MB450s Audio Legion 3500.1D 2 RE MT 18s 360 ah LiFePO4 BatterySHCA 2/0 155.2 @ 29 hzKicker CVR 15's buildDD 3512e buildMini T-Line Build(6) 8s BuildNightshade 15s Wall BuildMagnum AB XFL 12s BuildNewest Magnum Build
