finkster Posted July 21, 2008 Report Posted July 21, 2008 (edited) I bought a wiring harness from wal mart...said it works for 97 explorer...I dunno if this includes the XLT....but i bought it and hooked it up and the second clip doesnt fit...the harness for all the speaker + and -...is there a special adapter i need...Im so bummed right now EDIT: the clip that doesnt fit has 16 wire going in to the harness on the factory side... EDIt..... ^^^he^^^ beat me too it. =( if you have the premium sound like i did, you might have to buy a "special" harness for the factory amp going to your door speakers.
