Once or twice I have missed having a back seat / rear hatch, but all in all people love to see a walled vehcile. NoFearX18 Posted July 30, 2008 Report Share Posted July 30, 2008 $500 isnt going to get you far. my system has cost me $1500 so far and thats not even the electrical upgrades, or a better amp yet. you want Fi? go with the SSD and try to find a 800 watt amp and call it good. dont forget to build a box it will cost you another $50-$80 depending on what you use and what size it is. and if you buy a box it will probably be closer to $100 if not more. install is a peice of cake.... just time consuming...and agrivating sometimes... Heyy, heyy- I got my gf to puke, literally with 1- Kove 15" tuned at 34hz with a Memphis Belle1300 on it after the first trip in this car- Ford Aspire, she opened the door and threw up when we got home And as far as $500 being a limit- ITS DOEABLE people but you got to buy the stuff, and install it yourself Like me, I bought a RE XXX18, threw it in a transmission line, and had it ran by ONLY 1- PG Ryval 1000w amp $200 sub $100 amp $35 amp kit $80 for wood- Birch at that where does that bring me? about $415 or so- Oh and $20 for a hi/low conv :-( even tho the amp was shitty, well, due to the 18 being in a very effecient transmission line, I got window flexage, rooftop hopping gatoraid bottles half full about 1ft in the air and this amp at 4ohms was about 350rms around there But ofcourse this was an SUV No more 18 tho, IAM selling the box I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. Beanz Posted July 30, 2008 Report Share Posted July 30, 2008 well there you go you can get the 12 inch FI ssd for 179 and maybe get a hifonics amp the titan or if not the brutus and yes i know they are a lil overratted but they do the job, of course you could get a RF punch 600.1 and run the sub at two ohms great amp too. That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
