David
Black CA glue is the best for reconing your sub, fi didnt send any? I would email them to see about getting some
Forevrbumpn
Blahhh, Iam still anti CA... I only would use it for its speed of drying I prefer DP420 epoxy, plack, in a epoxy gun but that is if you are reconing alot I have 0.020" plastic shims, but I dont know where to buy them online, best part about using them is the glue doesnt stick, just pops off... Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
i like fi
thanx. Scott said use any 5 min epoxy at homedepot. I removed a backet to put lil epoxy under it, by now im thinking if basket has to be aligned to motor (in a way where lead are position to the motor) leads only. Because if you look into the motor, the pole and magnet has a tamper(offset) by about 1/4". I was thinking if sub leads have to positioned in relation to this offset magnet and pole? i like fi
Do you see the offset? Quote 15" BTL in TTB MMats 3500.1 optima and everstart max. Clarion indash tv.
i like fi
nevermind that, 1 motor looked messed up off by 2 mm, but maybe some1 messed with it. the other motor looked good, offset by 0.5 to 1mm. So probably all btl motors are not perfectly centered. Quote 15" BTL in TTB MMats 3500.1 optima and everstart max. Clarion indash tv.
Boon
So probably all btl motors are not perfectly centered. Jeez I don't know about that... do your coils look ok? I know someone here with a RE MT (basically the same sub) that was a tiny bit offset and it had massive coil rub. The tolerances in those motors are very, very tight.
