Guest aseanj52 Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 The subs i bought are dual 2 ohm, so i will either run .5 or 2 ohm. At 2 ohm my amp puts out 600 rms, at 1 it does 1000 so .5 idk. But i know my amp will run at .5 because i have done it before. But I'm not sure how well the subs will move, if at all with 300 rms each.
Decaf Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 why not just make the biggest best box for one for now until u can get 2000w rms or get something like a zx2500 or sundown3000 which can do 2000@2ohms, or another prd1000.1 then ud be giving 1 l7 15 its rated power which will be better than two at more than under half power imo personally i wont go near .5ohm... only with about 10 amps i can name that id use daily everyday at .5 (coughsundowncough) gl

Decaf Posted July 29, 2008 Report Posted July 29, 2008 so build another for the 1 until u get more power i doubt the subs will even move enough to cool themselves def either wait for another amp or use one til u do
Guest aseanj52 Posted July 29, 2008 Report Posted July 29, 2008 The box is dual chamber so i might just run 1. Stripped screw hole though....not cool....but it's ok I'm bolting it.
Dale Posted July 29, 2008 Report Posted July 29, 2008 I think bolting the sub is a great idea. let's see some vids
