Hawkman890 Posted July 30, 2008 Report Posted July 30, 2008 Hey guys i'm working on fixing up an 86 chevy pickup...i've had some trouble finding out what size speakers are in it right now, so could someone tell me what size they are? And what are some nice speakers out there that would fit it? I plan on installing the speakers myself but never have done any audio work personally, any tips? Quote

Guest aseanj52 Posted July 30, 2008 Report Posted July 30, 2008 If it is the C series pickup..... Front speakers Dash: 3-1/2" factory speaker note Kick Panel: 6-1/2" factory speaker note Front Door: 6x9" Important requirements Far rear speakers Behind Seat: 4x10" Quote
Hawkman890 Posted July 30, 2008 Author Report Posted July 30, 2008 I forgot to mention, it is a C-Series pickup, but the thing is it's a regular cab, and has no rear speakers, or any speakers in the doors, only 3 speakers on the dash as far as i can tell. i was planning on powering it off the headunit (it has an aftermarket one, not upscale though) but am not positive..
