dungycolts18 Posted August 3, 2008 Report Share Posted August 3, 2008 alright i listen to a lot of metal and im tryin figure out how to get the best sound out of my music. i have hardly any space to use and im wondering which one of these would sound best. 2 RE-SX 10's ported. 4 RE-SL 10's ported 2 Fi-Q 10's ported. 2 Fi-Q 12's sealed. 4 RE-SL 12's sealed. which one do u think would sound best? it'll take a year, 5000 dollars, hard work, and some help from friends but it will work (\__/) (='.'=) This is Bunny. I did a system not to long ago with three re sx 10's..ported off a ARC 4000se...sounded killer with everything and still had alot of low freq output..so two of them should do it...what car/truck is this going into?? ISO Posted August 4, 2008 Report Share Posted August 4, 2008 Alittle off topic but I listen to alot of heavy metal and like my subs, so I changed amps over to Rockford Fosgate BD amps. They have a 45 hert bass boost indash knob and it only boosts the frequency at 45 hertz and that fixed my little bass problem with heavy metal. Nothing pisses me off more than not having any bass on heavy metal. So I would try a Fosgate amp with the bass knob and almost any high quality sub.
