Electrical Dilemma

Recommended Posts

I would check the remote (turn on) wire

Maybe you got the wrong one like power ant. Or something eles

My thoughts exactly alpine... fuse b4 the second battery or you can still have an electrical fire due to the rear battery supplying power to the run to the front... and the ground to the rear battery from the amp is fine.

Some people need a sympathetic pat... on the head...with my hammer

it appears that stray strands from the power wire were touching the remote turn on wire causing stuff to turn on w/o the key. I now need to figure out why the amp's power light is on but it doesnt work

had that happen to me, a single thread of copper will keep it turned on if it's touching the remote...I was pissed but then sighed with relief when I realized that..
