I have a 200 amp alt in my 2000 accord and it works like a charm. And as far as mids go, if it still sounds good and its to your liking then just leave them in there. I went back to duel factory alts for the stbility and run 13 batteries with a our module @15.8/16volt all day long for demos without a problem. (around 20,000watts).
