Forevrbumpn
if u coat the outside wit resin, sand, one more coat and then paint u have a very smooth base for paint and none gets absorbed into the wood ^^ exactly, thin coat or 2 of resin, sand smooth, then paint I usually dont do that, I usually just rhino line it, then paint the rhino line whatever color needed, THEN clear coat it Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. I have seen Jon (epicenterdesigns) use both methods, and I think the slicksand workd out the best. 1 thick coat of fillerprimer, maybe 2 and you are good to go for paint. he just made a beer pong table for our cruise in and he sprayed slick sand and paint, and it turned our awesome. hopefully he will post pics tomorrow.
