SJClark09
Finnally someone else with a 4 Runner! and I like James idea 2 dc lvl 2's would sound sweet. Or maybe 1 FiQ 18 and a refurbed sundown 1000D? haha yeah i <3 my 4Runner. I'm pretty set on getting a 15in level 4 off of Bangin_Explorer its just a matter of time and if my sister's boyfriend gives me his sub(no clue what brand but hey...its a free 15in sub). as far as an amp is concerned i think im going with a Hifonics BXi 1208D (Yeah i know im WAY underpowering it but it should bump pretty hard) and if i ever wanna upgrade i can sell that amp for maybe a Kicker ZX1500.1. now all i need help is with the wires etc. would a wiring set like this give me everything i would need to wire my subs? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6240_A...te+KIT1450.html Edited August 28, 2008 by SJClark09 Quote Who ever said nothing is impossible never tried to slam a revolving door. 77-AUDIO
Shoot try using one Kicker 8"sub dual 4 ohm in a box around 1.75 cubes tuned to somewhere around 38 htz. Put in a Kicker 300.1 and instant bump.... For the box use the one on re audios site. http://reaudio.com/speaker_box/LPort_Box_Calc.html Box width 25 Height 14 Top and bottom depth 14 Wood thickness .75 Port width 2 Port length 6 Box volume 1.725 All number are in inches I put mine in a 2 cubic foot box and it beat like hell on a jbl gt 150 watt amp bridged. Then I got my RE Audio SE dual 2 ohm... and put it on my big amp (2500watts) The kicker 300.1 will push 2 comp 12". Cost Kicker 300.1 $149.00 Kicker DVC Sub $75 Wood for Box and misc $35 Wiring kit $50 get a good wiring kit it pays. Bed liner spraied on about $75.00 TOTAL $384.00 Quote PPI dbl dinDC Level 31.77cubes net tuned to 33htz.DC audio 2.0kCT Pro Audio 8" in front, 6.5 in rear
