kylecm85
we built one when i was in welding in high school and it was fun we used a u type chanel that was steel forgot the exact name for the frame strong and cuts down on weight a little and made the bed out of 2 or 2and half inch tubing then flat steel for the actual floor. prob a little heavier than what you are intending it for but it was fun to build. Aaron813
size does matter! BIGGER is better... plus he will probally be taking this trailler off road. Exactly I have came up with a few sketches ill post in a little bit ya you are right I probably will end up never being happy with it lol
Aaron813
I understand BIGGER is BETTER(I live in Texas), but it has its limit. Let me know what you come up with, I need a trailer too. My brother has a trailer that he put a BBQ pit on, with a toolbox and radio, that he can still load his dirt bike and 4wheeler on. I'll get some pics next time I see him.(should be soon) I have alot of other toys that arent light Rhinos rzrs snowmobiles that kinda stuff reason for 2 3500lb axles is that i would rather be safe than sorry cause ive ended up towing home peoples jeeps and trucks home before
Aaron813
bro! you never seem to amaze me... you know if you dont have one custom built or build it yourself you will never be happy with it. i saw a few @ the sportsmans show last year that gave some good ideas... my favorite was a double decker with built in canoppy, 2 rhinos on the bottom with 4 quads on top. Ive seen a few stackers also they are nice and that thought has been going thru my head also. Ya im just getting tired of pulling big trailers all thru the week and then on the weekends thats the main reason for building one
duct_tape123
Here are some pics of my brothers trailer. I think its a 6'X10' with a 3500lb axle. Tongue weight FTL! Dual 4" stacks!! Edited September 3, 2008 by duct_tape123

duct_tape123
Yea, it used to be a pop-up camper. We completely rebuilt everything. Added sub-frame, 3500lb axle, railings, BBQ pit, toolbox, and radio. The pit makes some damn good brisket!!!
